How StolenOrNOT Works

Camera Scan (AI Vision)

Point your camera at a serial number plate on a bike, laptop, phone, power tool, or any item. AI reads the serial number, brand, and model information.

Text Search

Type a serial number directly, or describe the item (e.g., "Trek Marlin 5 blue serial WTU123456"). StolenOrNOT searches stolen property databases for matches.

Deep Check (AI Search)

Deep Check uses AI-powered web search to look for stolen reports:

Important Limitations

A clean result does NOT mean an item isn't stolen. Not all stolen items are reported, and not all reports are in searchable databases. If a deal seems too good to be true, trust your gut. Always ask for proof of purchase and meet in a safe, public location.

Your Privacy

StolenOrNOT uses BYOK architecture. Your searches go directly from your browser to Groq AI. There is no StolenOrNOT server.
